Coach House, the UK’s largest trade only supplier of furniture and giftware, has just taken delivery of six new Cartwright step frame box van trailers. The 35 year old Lancashire company boasts 14000 product lines at its 25000 square feet dedicated theme showroom in Altham. Its collections include designated furniture, accessories and gifts, lighting, artificial flowers and plants and festive products.
The two 10m and four 12m long tandem axle trailers are aluminium sided with hardwood tie rails in the sides to enable the safe shipment of the wide variety of furniture, fittings and gifts. Ratcliff Palfinger tuckaway tail-lifts are mounted to the rear to enable ease of delivery to Coach House’s wide range of customer outlet locations. The new eye catching livery is black sign writing on a cream background with black edging, whilst the tractor units contrast this, being black cabbed with cream writing.
Brian Parsons, Transport Manager for Coach House commented “This is our first order with Cartwright and we are very pleased with the quality of the equipment and the service”.
Andy Jarvis, Cartwright Technical Sales Manager said: “This return to a traditional material for the trailer structure demonstrates Cartwright’s versatility in utilising modern build techniques to deliver Coach House’s requirements. We have worked closely with Coach House and look forward to working with them again in the future.”
