Cartwright has signed a sponsorship agreement with Warrington Wolves star Ben Westwood.
The company, which celebrates 60 years in business this year, has sponsored fans’ favourite Ben whose testimonial year to celebrate 10 years with the Wolves began in December. Ben joined Warrington Wolves in 2002 and in that time has made more than 300 appearances.
The 31-year-old has also established himself as a key international player, representing England on 21 occasions over the past eight years, helping his country through to the semi-finals of the World Cup in 2008. He is also expected to be called up as part of the England team in 2013. During his time with Warrington Wolves Ben has played an integral part in the club’s fortunes – helping to win three Challenge Cups and the League Leaders Shield.
He is widely recognised as one of the best second-row forwards in the league. This year he was nominated for the 2012 Man of Steel title, the Rugby League equivalent to a Player of the Year award which invites votes from fellow professionals. Ben narrowly missed out on the title, being pipped to the post by Wigan full-back Sam Tomkins.
